Professor (Sir) Reuben Anyi-Udeozo Nwobu a Professor of Medical Microbiology, Biotechnologist and Consultant Medical Laboratory Scientists, was born at Nibo in Awka South Local Government of Anambra State, Nigeria. Had his primary education in Central School, Nibo and Secondary Education at the Prestigious Dennis Memorial Grammar School Onitsha. His higher education was at Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Lagos, College of Medicine, University of Lagos and Edo State (Ambrose Ali) University, Ekpoma. He is a staff of Department of Applied Microbiology and Brewing, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.
He is married to his loving wife, Lady Florence N. Nwobu and blessed with six children.
